1. What does GMTI stand for?
GMTI stands for "Global Media Training Institute." For a complete overview of the training Institute, please refer to our "About" page.


2. What is the cost, and what does this include?
The price for the training varies based on location. The cost includes training, materials, lunch, and beverages.


3. Why do I have to be approved to register?
It is important that participants have the necessary authorisation and meet specific eligibility standards. Because of this, we require you to submit an application, including a recommendation from your pastor or another recognised ministry leader.


4. What is the Cancellation/Refund Policy?
We regret that here are no refunds available for this training.


5. Do you provide housing? If not, what hotels are nearby?
In a very limited number of countries, we're able to provide housing accommodations to students for a nominal fee. However, in most countries, housing accommodations are not available. If possible, we will post a list of hotels on the "Travel" page for each GMTI regional session. Please note that accommodations are solely your responsibility.


6. Do you provide directions or a map to the GMTI location?
Yes. Once an application is approved, directions and further instructions will be provided via email.


7. Is transportation convenient to the location?
Transportation is your responsibility, but we will try to recommend conveniently-located hotels. We advise you to consider your personal transportation preferences before arriving.


8. Will childcare be provided?
No, childcare is not provided.

 

9. What is the dress code?
Respectable attire is requested.


10. Will books and study materials be provided?
Materials will be provided.


11. Will I need a computer?
No. However, you are free to bring a laptop if you like. However, wireless access will not be available during the Institute.


12. Who will be instructing?
Instructors will vary according to location, Information on the Institute leadership and instructors can be found on the "”Leadership" link.

 

13. Are all the sessions in large groups, or will I be able to ask questions one-on-one with instructors?
Sessions are in group format. However, instructors will be available during a one-on-one period and after sessions.

 

14. Will I be able to get hands-on instruction with video and audio equipment?
Because of the size of the group, we cannot guarantee that every participant will have this opportunity. However, we will make an effort to give you the opportunity to handle equipment.

 

15. Will the sessions be translated in languages other than English? Will sign language be available?
At this time, the training will be in English only. No sign language will be provided.

 

16. May I record the sessions in either audio or video?
Although recordings are not permitted, you are encouraged to take notes.

 

17. Will audio or video recordings of the sessions be made available?
DVDs will be available for purchase at some sessions.

 

18. Does GMTI have a campus?
The Global Media Training Institute is the first step of a training facility that will be built at the City of Light, our new headquarters and outreach centre in South Carolina, USA. When completed, this facility will include a state-of-the-art Production Facility where people throughout the world will come for intensive training in all phases of media ministry.

 

19. I understand GMTI is presented by Inspiration Ministries. Can you tell me more about this ministry?
The Inspiration Networks is the parent company of Inspiration Ministries, which is available to more than 1.2 billion people worldwide through multiple distribution platforms including INSP (The Inspiration Network) and INI (Inspiration Network International). The Inspiration Networks also operates "Inspiration Global," providing broadband video content to non-English speaking audiences.

 

20. Who is David Cerullo?
David Cerullo is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Inspiration Ministries. After a successful career in ministry and business, he assumed leadership of the ministry in 1990. With God's help and guidance, he has built the ministry from a single cable TV network into a far-reaching media organisation now available to a potential audience of more than 1.2 billion people through its various distribution platforms. David and his wife Barbara co-host their internationally-syndicated daily television program, "Inspiration Today!"
