Look What God Did in Israel!
Just days after Israel celebrated its 60th birthday as a nation, your financial Seeds trained Media Evangelists who will have a powerful impact throughout the Middle East!
Today, Israel and its neighbors are at a crossroads. Many Believers watch daily television news reports of "wars and rumors of wars,"feeling helpless to do anything about the situation. But God has given us the Global Media Training Institute (GMTI) as part of His amazing plan to bring the Light of the Gospel to every continent and nation even to this troubled region.
Our GMTI team recently commissioned students in Israel to use the power of the airways to take the Gospel "nto all the world" -especially into Israel and the Middle East. Just as Jesus trained apostles to spread the Gospel across the world, we trained "Media Evangelists"in Israel to use state-of-the-art media technology to tell people everywhere that Jesus is the promised Messiah!
Our recent GMTI in Israel equipped Media Evangelists
with technological tools to have a powerful ripple effect
throughout the Middle East! And students came all the way from Finland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, and Romania!
God changed the lives of those who attended our GMTI in Israel:
- Craig,the coach of the Israeli national baseball team, has a vision for using media to reach the sports world with the Gospel. He was thrilled to have new tools for communicating God’s message from his very public platform.
- Sola, a 19-year-old from Haifa, was encouraged by her pastor to attend GMTI with others from her church. The first day, she was skeptical about whether this training would have any value, but soon she was engrossed in learning the powerful new ways she could lift up Messiah Jesus in her church and throughout Israel.
- Karen ministers to Palestinian refugee camps and came to GMTI to learn how to incorporate media into her ministry. She and her staff plan to create short movies to share the Gospel with kids in the camps.
Although you may not have been able to go in person, you were there through your prayers and Seeds of financial support! This amazing impact is fruit that abounds to your account in Heaven (Philippians 4:17).
Through GMTI, we are committed to training thousands of Media Evangelists to reach the nations of the world with the Gospel. These precious Believers understand the culture of their nation…they speak the language…and they have access to places you and I can’t personally go. Most important of all, they have a passion to reach their nations for Christ.
In many Middle Eastern nations, it's illegal to preach the Gospel by traditional means, but God is using satellite television, the Internet, and other media technologies to penetrate the spiritual darkness blanketing this part of the world.
